here a quote from there website
Well, it may have been just a little bit wet last year but we know from the fantastic turnout and great feedback we've had that you enjoyed LownLoud's first outing so ...
... we're back, bigger and better for 2008 and really excited to let you know the venue for this year is at
Haynes International Motor Museum, Sparkford, Nr Yeovil. What makes this venue so great is twofold : the
MUSEUM* itself, which is the UK's largest exhibition of the greatest cars from around the world. Haynes is a living and working museum, with over 350 amazing cars and bikes. You can also discover the world famous Red Room, 11 huge display halls and one of the UK's largest speedway collections.
The second reason we've left til last 'cos it's the best - it's
THE TEST TRACK! Rant your ride round a quarter mile circuit used by racing teams to run in engines, bed in brakes, practice starts and set up handling for tight corners. No fine for being caught on our cameras. One of the things many enjoyed about last year was the "
BURNOUT" exhibition so, having the track, it'll give us the chance to put on a great display.
Entry is the same as last year - £8 per adult (under 12s free) and we have organised a discounted rate should you wish to take the opportunity to visit the museum. The show opens at 10am - last entry at 3pm. Using the track will set you back just a fiver for 10 laps and will be open all day.
Also on offer will be ICE Demos, Track Demos, Sound Off, Club Displays and Trade Stands, Show and Shine Competitions, Tech Stuff and a Wet T-shirt competition (a real must!) - bring on the Fire Brigade!
KEEP CHECKING BACK HERE FOR UPDATES and if you want to know anything, just
send us an email.
* entry to the museum is not included in show price.
